For 20 years, Dental Care Kids has provided specialized pediatric dental care for children and families in Stamford, Connecticut. Located in the same building as Dental Care of Stamford (a separate adult practice) and Dental Care Orthodontics (a separate orthodontic practice), Dental Care Kids is a dedicated pediatric practice focused on helping children feel comfortable, cared for, and confident at every visit.
We believe children deserve a dental experience designed entirely for them — not a scaled-down version of adult dentistry. That conviction shapes everything from our hand-painted murals and ceiling-mounted TVs to our clinical team of board-certified pediatric specialists.

We don’t just adapt standard layouts for children — our team, specialized capabilities, and entire physical environment are built from scratch specifically for pediatric safety and comfort.
Every dentist is a pediatric specialist.
All of our clinical doctors completed a full two-year residency in pediatric dentistry after dental school. That specialization matters — pediatric training covers behavior guidance, sedation safety for children, treatment of developing dentition, and care for kids with special healthcare needs. It’s why parents drive from across Fairfield County and Westchester to bring their children here.
A space designed for children, not adapted for them.
Every inch of our office was planned around what helps kids feel safe. Underwater-themed murals, toys and games in every waiting area, balloons and prizes at the end of each visit, and staff specifically hired and trained for their patience with young patients.
Sedation options other pediatric offices don’t offer.
We provide nitrous oxide, oral sedation, IV sedation, and general anesthesia — a full range that lets us safely treat anxious patients, children with special needs, and cases requiring extensive work in a single visit.
Multilingual, multicultural team.
Our staff speaks Spanish, Haitian Creole, French, Hindi, and more. Families feel at home because someone on our team shares their language and culture.

Children fear what they don’t understand. Our clinical approach is built around a simple, research-backed method called “show, tell, do”:

the child the instrument or technique we’re about to use
Tell
them — in age-appropriate language — what it does and what it will feel like
Do
the procedure, with the child as an informed participant rather than a passive patient

Three Separate Practices, One Address
Dental Care Kids shares 1500 Summer Street with two other separate dental practices. Families often appreciate the convenience of having multiple specialties available at the same address.
Dental Care Orthodontics is a separate orthodontic practice on the same floor — board-certified orthodontists offering braces, Invisalign, and clear aligners for kids, teens, and adults. All Dental Care Kids patients are welcome to schedule a free orthodontic evaluation with DCO.
Dental Care of Stamford is a separate adult general and cosmetic dentistry practice one floor up, serving Stamford adults for 40 years.
Each practice is independently run with its own doctors, staff, and specialty focus. What we share is the building — and a shared commitment to comfortable, high-quality dental care.
